International Development Studies
International Development Studies (IDS) is a political studies major that aims to
prepare students for a life of service for God's glory. The major is interdisciplinary
and includes topics such as global politics, sustainable agriculture, global aid,
global health policy, and world missions.
The IDS curriculum will prepare students to enter careers in government work, international relations, international development, business, public policy, the non-profit sector, church work, and missions. The IDS curriculum (along with the appropriate prerequisites) is also a launch board to graduate programs in political science, law, public health, environmental science, international development, and medicine.
