Southern Center for Counseling and Emotional Wellness
Southern Center for Counseling and Emotional Wellness
During your second year, if you are completing the Clinical Mental Health Counseling
emphasis or the dual emphasis, you start providing counseling services for community
individuals and families at the center. While there, you are closely supervised by
experienced, licensed faculty who dedicate a significant amount of time helping you
develop the counseling skills necessary for your future success. Services offered
are free of charge for the benefit of our local community. Following this experience,
you then move on to your clinical internship practice at other community sites.
For more information, please contact the center's receptionist at (423) 236-2492 or
go to the website (coming soon). Confidential voicemail is available for messages to be left outside of operating
hours.
