Acceptable Use Policy
What’s kosher and what’s off limits to computer science students? The Acceptable Use Policy outlines the resource privileges, conditions, and responsibilities to maintain those privileges provided to School of Computing students.
Admission to the School of Computing
Are you a Sophomore or above and have completed at least 6 hours of computing courses at Southern? Then submit this application!
Admission Requirements:
Students pursing a major offered by the School of Computing should apply for admission at the end of the freshman year. Transfer students will be considered for admission after completing 6 hours of major courses in residence.

- Acceptance to Southern Adventist University.
- Complete general education: ENGL 101 and ENGL 102.
- Completion of 6 hours of computer courses required in the major with a grade of "C" or better.
- Earned overall GPA of 2.25 or better.
- Earned School of Computing GPA of 2.25 or better.
- Successful completion of a programming competency examination administered by the School of Computing.
