Thank you for standing in the gap for these students. Your prayers matter more than you know.
Each year, Southern sends students around the world to serve and share, continuing a legacy of mission that has defined this university from its earliest days. These young men and women step out in faith, often leaving behind comfort and familiarity to go where the need is great. Your prayers are a lifeline to them.
We invite you to adopt one of our outgoing student missionaries in prayer. Request a student missionary prayer card (PDF) and begin praying for them as they prepare for deployment and throughout the 2026-2027 school year as they serve in the field. Request an SM Prayer Card.
As you are praying for one of our student missionaries, we also have a way for you
to share a message with them. Even simply encouraging them and letting them know you
are praying for them can be divine intervention in a difficult time. See how you can
