Kabula Hill School is a small school near downtown Blantyre, Malawi, Africa. It was established around 35-40 years ago to accommodate kids of missionaries from Blantyre Adventist Hospital. Since then it has allowed other parents to enroll their children in the school. The school's grades could go up to 12th grade if needed, but currently has up to 8th grade. The maximum number of students that is allowed because of space restrictions is 12 students. The students' nationalities vary from South American to Malawian.

- Location: Blantyre is a city in the Shire Highlands, in southern Malawi. It connects the town of Limbe and is known for its British colonial architecture and nearby parks, reserves, and safaris. Blantyre is Malawi's center of finance and commerce, and it is the second largest city, with a numbered population of 800,000. Mount Mulanje is located 65 km (about 40 miles) east of Blantyre. It is popular for hiking and climbing and has several mountain huts scattered across it which are maintained by the Malawi Mountain Club and the Malawi Forestry Department. - Living Accommodations: About a 5-minute walk from school. Fully functional kitchenet (stove, oven, microwave, fridge...) & fully stocked (plates, cups, utensils...). Mosquito net provided. Washer provided. Close proximity to banks, shops, restaurants, Adventist Hospital and Dental, and Adventist Church. There is a nice dog named Lexie. Full house cleaning provided twice a week.
- Language: English
- Food: You will have to make your own food. There are many things that you can find here. In the past, each family was assigned a Sabbath lunch with the student missionaries
- Requirements: Visa on arrival (U.S citizens), teaching major can be helpful but not required.

Interested in Malawi?
Apply for your preferred position at least four months before you plan to serve, though spots may be available up until a month before departure.
