CAD Lab
The Computer Aided Design Lab (CAD) provides 25 computer workstations with large curved
monitors and the necessary engineering software to support CAD, computer aided manfacuring
(CAM), finnite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), signal
processing, microcontroller firmware development, printed circuit board development,
and programming activities.
This space is also what we call hybrid, which means that half the room is dedicated
to the lab equipment, and the other side is a dedicated classroom space. Having the
room set up this way also for professors and students to easily jump back and forth
between lecture and lab work.
