TIME

Education is a game changer, and educators are world changers. Some high school students already know that they want to become teachers. Others may be interested in exploring the idea. If either one is the case for you, we’re excited to tell you more about TIME.

What is TIME?

TIME (Targeted Intentional Mentoring for Educators) is a cohort of carefully selected students from Forest Lake Academy who will take a series of courses for dual enrollment credit. These students will simultaneously receive credit for both high school and college coursework. This enables them to get a jump start on their college degree while simultaneously positioning themselves for success as educators.

Southern Adventist University is partnering with Forest Lake Academy and the Florida Conference on this initiative, which has many benefits for such students.

Benefits for Students

  • Save money
    • Discounted tuition rate ($115/credit hour) with a savings of over $9,000 compared to current tuition

    • Enjoy a seamless transition into Southern’s Teacher Education Program (Receive advising from Southern’s education professors)
