Southern Shuffle 5K/10K
October 1-October 31, 2020
Southern alumni, families, students, and friends are invited to participate in this year’s virtual Southern Shuffle 5K/10K, sponsored by Alumni Relations and the School of P.E., Health, and Wellness! It’s free to join, and participants will be entered into several gift card drawings provided by Alumni Relations.
This virtual race can be run, walked, or jogged at any location. Report your results here for eligibility to win prizes!

Southern Shuffle 5K/10K Results:
How do I participate?
1) Print your race bib (5K here, 10K here) and choose your route.
2) Start your timer! Run, jog, or walk either 5K (3.1 miles) or 10K (6.2 miles).
3) Share your photos with us. Tag the Alumni Association on Facebook and use the hashtag #SouthernShuffle to be entered into drawings for some free Southern swag! Pictures may also be emailed to alumni@southern.edu.
4) Submit your results here by Sunday, November 1 at 9 p.m. (EDT).
Gift Card Drawings
All eligible participants will automatically be entered into the following categories for the chance to win multiple Amazon gift cards:

Photo Submission Contest
Snap a picture of yourself during the race. Tag the Alumni Association on Facebook and use the hashtag #SouthernShuffle to be entered into drawings for some free Southern swag! Pictures may also be emailed to alumni@southern.edu.

- Pull out your evergreen and lime clothing to show your love of Southern during the race!
- Most Unique or Interesting Location
- Our alumni are living all around the world! Show us your location.
- People’s Choice
- All submitted pictures will be posted to an album on Facebook after the race. The picture with the most “likes” will receive some Southern swag!
